Kontakt Nikita Burtsev

Hello, we are Nikita & Lisa

a photography duo driven by emotion, light, and genuine connection.
Our style blends classic elegance with a documentary feel — honest, emotional, and timeless.

At the center of every story we tell is you — the couple. Your love, your laughter, your quiet moments. Around you, we focus on your parents, family, and closest friends — the people who give your day its heart and meaning.

Nikita — the storyteller — captures emotion, movement, and light to turn fleeting moments into timeless memories.

Lisa — the eye for detail — brings harmony to every frame: she creates elegant flatlays, arranges the dress to perfection, and ensures every image feels complete.

We aim to capture not only how your day looked, but how it felt — the tears, the smiles, the energy of every heartbeat.

We stay true to natural colors and genuine light, preserving the atmosphere exactly as it was. At times, we use flash — not only for the party, but whenever the light calls for it — adding a touch of gloss and cinematic depth. This balance of natural and crafted light makes our wedding stories rich, textured, and full of life.

For us, photography is more than images — it’s about feeling the day again, every time you look back.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely yours,
Nikita & Lisa

Gear & Why

What I shoot with — and why it matters for your day

I don’t chase gear. Every piece in my bag earns its place because it produces the look my couples book me for: hard, intentional light and clean, editorial frames.

Why Canon — Before any single lens, it’s the Canon color science that keeps me on this system. Skin tones come out natural and true, and the color rendering is beautiful straight out of camera — warm without being artificial. That’s the foundation my whole warm, editorial palette is built on; the lenses just shape the light on top of it.

Canon RF 28-70 f/2.0 — My do-everything editorial lens. One piece of glass that goes from a wide venue frame to a tight, compressed portrait without ever dropping below f/2.0. It’s the reason I move fast on a wedding day without compromising the image.

Canon RF 16-28 f/2.8 — For when the room is as stunning as the dress. Wide open at 16mm, the architecture wraps around the bride — high ceilings, grand windows, the whole space becomes part of her portrait. I lean into that dramatic wide geometry rather than correcting it out; placed right, it’s part of my visual signature.

Canon RF 70-200 f/2.8 & RF 50 f/1.2 — Compression and separation. The 200mm reach for candid emotion from across the room; the 50 f/1.2 for the frames that need to feel like a portrait, not a snapshot.

Godox lighting — My style is hard light, and Godox is how I shape it. Off-camera flash gives me control over mood no matter what the venue throws at me — harsh noon sun or a pitch-black reception hall.

DxO (DeepPRIME) — Where the files get their finish. It lets me shoot confidently in the worst light and still deliver clean, crisp images. It’s the quiet backbone of my post workflow.
