Why is film photography so special? 

Many of you and your parents had a film camera at home 🎞️📷. For me, it is also a warm memory from my childhood. In the past, photos were only taken on special occasions. 

Nowadays, you take out your phone and snap as many pictures as you want! In contrast, shooting with film is expensive. Not only does the film itself cost money, but developing and scanning do as well. 

That’s why people photograph much more carefully with film than digitally. Also, the results with film are not as predictable compared to digital shots.

For the reasons mentioned above, I take most photos during the wedding with my digital cameras, and I only take film photos at moments where it feels appropriate. After the wedding, you will receive, in addition to the complete digital wedding series, a small series on film.
